Welcome

Welcome to the new Drug Treatment Blog, brought to you by National Rehabs, a nation-wide service offering referrals to detox centers, treatment programs and intervention providers.

As long as there are people struggling with drug addiction, there will be a need for up-to-date-information on the most effective methods of overcoming these addictive patterns of behavior.

As a leader in this field, we receive many calls and emails requesting information on a wide range of subjects related to drugs and drug treatment. We’ve created this site to pass along current information to anyone needing help. Generally, the contacts we receive come from two groups:

  1. drug addicts wanting help for themselves, and
  2. people wondering what they can do to help a particular addict.

Since 2002, we’ve assisted thousands of people in finding the help they needed to turn their lives around, and become ex-addicts—living lives free from the pitiful demoralization of addiction.

Many of these individuals came looking for help on their own. Addiction had taken all it could from them. Having reached the lowest point of despair—where the choices seemed to be “get help” or “end it all”—they reached out. We were able to connect them with the right programs and services that made all the difference.

We’ve also helped countless friends, family members, spouses, children, employers and others who were concerned about someone whose addiction was out of control. We feel fortunate to have been in the position to steer them toward resources that would provide help for the addict needing treatment.

Addiction is a disease that affects everyone in the addict’s life.

Understanding this, many of the people who came to us seeking help for the addict in their lives were also given information about Family Recovery. These programs can help the rest of the family bring a sense of normalcy back into their own lives.

Each page of this site will provide information on different approaches to addiction recovery. You’ll also learn about getting help for someone who may not be ready or willing to admit they have a problem. Also, our blog pages will keep you up to date on the latest research in addiction recovery. If you need additional information, call one of our trained counselors at National Rehabs at (800) 344-8794 or contact us via email. We’re ready to help you get the help you need.
